Linking Internal Content
Datatypes can be linked so that the content may appear on the corresponding pages. This is helpful with keeping all content up-to-date, as any changes to the datatype automatically shows at all linked instances.
Helpful Tip: Be sure that the item you intend to link to exists on the corresponding page—ex. a Location must exist in the Location datatype for you to be able to link it to a Profile.
Link Internal Content - Multiple Datatypes #
- Select the Related datatype you’d like to link to in the middle column navigation.
Here we link a Locations datatype. - Click the icon.
- Click the icon to open the full list of linkable items.
You could also type in the search field to narrow the search options. - Select the checkbox of the items you want to have linked, and then click Link Selected
- Click OK on the Link Locations verification window to confirm.
- Click Save.
Link Internal Content - Single Datatype#
- Select the Related datatype you’d like to link to in the middle column navigation.
Here we link a Locations datatype. - Click the icon.
- Click the icon to open the full list of linkable items.
You could also type in the search field to narrow the search options. - Select the icon next toe the item you want to have linked
- Click OK on the Link Locations verification window to confirm.
- Click Save.
Link Internal Content - Unlinking#
- Select the Related datatype you’d like to unlink to in the middle column navigation.
Here we link a Locations datatype. - Click down arrow next to the icon.
- Click the icon.
- Click OK on the Unlink Locations verification window to confirm.
- Click Save.
