Linking Internal Content

Datatypes can be linked so that the content may appear on the corresponding pages. This is helpful with keeping all content up-to-date, as any changes to the datatype automatically shows at all linked instances.

Helpful Tip: Be sure that the item you intend to link to exists on the corresponding page—ex. a Location must exist in the Location datatype for you to be able to link it to a Profile.

Link Internal Content - Multiple Datatypes #

Select the Related datatype you’d like to link to in the middle column navigation.
Here we link a Locations datatype.
Click the icon.
Click the icon to open the full list of linkable items.
You could also type in the search field to narrow the search options.
Select the checkbox of the items you want to have linked, and then click Link Selected
Click OK on the Link Locations verification window to confirm.
Click Save.

Link Internal Content - Single Datatype#

Select the Related datatype you’d like to link to in the middle column navigation.
Here we link a Locations datatype.
Click the icon.
Click the icon to open the full list of linkable items.
You could also type in the search field to narrow the search options.
Select the icon next toe the item you want to have linked
Click OK on the Link Locations verification window to confirm.
Click Save.

Link Internal Content - Unlinking#

Select the Related datatype you’d like to unlink to in the middle column navigation.
Here we link a Locations datatype.
Click down arrow next to the icon.
Click the icon.
Click OK on the Unlink Locations verification window to confirm.
Click Save.
