Blocks
Blocks account for a majority of the content on your website. #
There are a ton of options to make your page feel unique.
In the Blocks tab in the secondary navigation (i.e. middle column) click the icon to add a new content Block. To edit an existing Block, select the icon from the list view.
Helpful Tip: The Reference Title is a required field for every block. The Reference Title does not show on the public-facing site. It is strictly for Admin use to identify Blocks.
Add a Block - 1 Column#
- In the Blocks tab in the secondary navigation, click the icon to add a new content Block.
- Select the Block type. In this case, a 1-Column.
- Add the Reference Title.
- Enter the appropriate content in each field.
- Make sure the Public box is checked and click SAVE.
Add a Block - 1 Column w/ 2 Column Collapse or 2 - Column#
- In the Blocks tab in the secondary navigation, click the icon to add a new content Block.
- Select the Block type. In this case, a 1 - Column w/ 2 Column Collapse Items.
- Add the Reference Title.
- Enter the appropriate content in each field.
- Make sure the Public box is checked and click SAVE.
- After you hit SAVE, go back into the block and Select Items in the middle column.
- Click the icon to add the first column
- Add a Reference Title, Title and Body copy for this column.
- Click SAVE.
- Repeat this process for the second column item.
On the public side, the Titles will show but the Body copy is hidden. Click the icon to show the Body text.
The 2 - Column option follows this same set of steps.
Add a Block - 2 Column w/ Image#
- In the Blocks tab in the secondary navigation, click the icon to add a new content Block.
- Select the Block type. In this case, a 2 - Column w/ Left Image.
- Add the Reference Title.
- Add the Image. Select Aspect Ratio. Select Image Focus.
See the Images Page for how to add images. - Enter the appropriate content in each field. Title, Subtitle, Body Copy, Link Title, Link URL are NOT required.
- Make sure the Public box is checked and click SAVE.
On the public side, the Titles will show but the Body copy is hidden. Click the icon to show the Body text.
The 2 - Column w/ Right Image option follows this same set of steps.
The 1 - Column Image allows for a Title, but no column of Body copy.
Add a Block - Card Deck#
- In the Blocks tab in the secondary navigation, click the icon to add a new content Block.
- Select the Block type. In this case, a Card Deck - Card Pack w/ Collapse—where the content items (including the Cards are hidden).
- Add the Reference Title.
- Enter the appropriate content in each field.
- The Hidden Body field allows you to have concealed content, until the user clicks. There is a "Show Hidden Body By Default" option to not hide the Hidden Body and the Cards.
- The Image Aspect Ratio field uniformly controls the images in the pack. And this can be changed at any point.
- Make sure the Public box is checked and click SAVE.
- After you hit SAVE, go back into the block and select Items in the middle column.
- Click the icon to add the first Card.
- Add a Reference Title, Title and Summary copy for the Card. Note: The Title and Summary are not required.
- Add the Image. Choose the Aspect Ratio. Choose the Image Focus.

- Repeat this process for additional card items.
Add a Block - Gallery#
- In the Blocks tab in the secondary navigation, click the icon to add a new content Block.
- Select the Block type. In this case, a Gallery.
- Add the Reference Title.
- Enter the appropriate content in each field. Neither Title nor Body text are not required
- The Image Aspect Ratio field uniformly controls the images in the pack. And this can be changed at any point.
- Make sure the Public box is checked and click SAVE.
- After you hit SAVE, go back into the block and Select Items in the middle column.
- Click the icon to add the first Image to the gallery.
- Add a Reference Title (required). The Title is not required.
- Add a single Image.

Helpful Tip: You can also add MULTIPLE IMAGES at once.
Click the dropdown arrow next to the icon and select Add Multiple. Then click the checkbox next to the images you want to add and click Insert.
Helpful Tip: “Group(s)” or “Type(s)” fields allow you to show only custom-selected subsets of Datatype content. Copy and paste the slug from the desired Group/Type of the Datatype into the field. To add multiple subsets, separate with a comma.
Add a Block - Dynamic#
- In the Blocks tab in the secondary navigation, click the icon to add a new content Block.
- Select the Block type. In this case, a Dynamic > Services.
- Add the Reference Title.
- Enter the appropriate content in each field. The Image, Title, Body, Link + Link title fields are not required
- Make sure the Public box is checked and click SAVE. This will now show ALL Service items.
Helpful Tip: If you want to have a curated/pared down set of Services, you will need to copy the SLUG from Services > Type, and paste it into the Service Type(s) field.
The same is true if you choose to have other Dynamic blocks — like News or Testimonials
Add a Block - Advanced#
- In the Blocks tab in the secondary navigation, click the icon to add a new content Block.
- Select the Block type. In this case, an Advanced. This is usually for showing Contact info.
- Add the Reference Title.
- Enter the appropriate content in each field. The Image, Title, Body, Link + Link title fields are not required
- Make sure the Public box is checked and click SAVE. This will now show ALL Locations.
Helpful Tip: If you want to have a curated/pared down set of Locations, you will need to copy the SLUG from Locations > Type, and paste it into the Location Type(s) field.
